It looks like Nick does NOT have Celiac Disease. Rather, he is lactose intolerance. I'm an idiot for not figuring this out sooner. After all he is the biggest yogurt lover on the planet. Combine yogurt and all the pooping he did. Makes hindsight. It sure is nice not changing 6 poopy diapers a day though. Maybe one of these days I'll consider potty training him.

A couple of weeks ago after Nick kicked me all night I thought to myself it is time he gets back in his own bed. However....a couple of days later in the middle of the night he called out "you there mom" and stretched his hand out to find me. He obviously still needs the security of me and Chris being right there with him. I guess he will continue to kick me..for now. Alex had a great competition Saturday with 3 first place wins!

He's 3!

It's hard to believe but Nick is 3!!! He got a lot of trucks and tractors for his birthday. He thinks this birthday stuff is pretty neat!

Friday we went to Nick's 3 year-old check up so he could get caught up on some more of his shots. Of course, he hated that. But, worse than the shots was the blood draw. Our pediatrician decided to test Nick for Celiac Disease. Nick's weight gain has been very poor. He is still in the 8th percentile for height and weight. When we first got him he was in the 2nd and 5th percentile. So, based on that and the fact that he poops A LOT and he runs random fevers for no reasons he got tested. I think we should get the results next week. I sure hope he doesn't have this. But, if he does maybe his bowels will get under control and we can start thinking about potty training. I haven't even wanted to go there with all the pooping he does. Not-to-mention the fact that I HATE potty training. :)
